Engelberg (1,050m) is a pilgrimage town dominated by its 12th-century Benedictine monastery and backed by the 3,239m Mount Titlis. The mountain features the world's first revolving cable car, year-round glacier skiing, and one of Central Switzerland's most charming valley settings.
