Lavaux Vineyards
The Lavaux wine region stretches 30km along the northern shore of Lake Geneva between Lausanne and Montreux, with 830 hectares of terraced vineyards dating back to the 11th century. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007, the steep vine terraces produce excellent Chasselas wines with spectacular lake and Alpine views.
